Rezlogue / Couch Residency
Lagos Couch Residency
For about a week each month, we offer the couch in our Lagos apartment to an artist. No relocation, no rent, no application fee.
The residency is open to contemporary artists, cultural researchers and other practitioners across Africa and its diaspora, looking to visit, explore, create, or attend events, conferences or programmes in Lagos.
Rezlogue provides resource directions for Lagos, a few warm meals during the period, and useful connections to our network. The residency offers no financial assistance at this time.
For whom
Artists, designers, researchers and cultural practitioners who need or want to spend some time in Lagos — on our couch.
Eligibility
No strict eligibility. It's needs based. If you're wondering whether it's right for you, you should most likely apply.
Who has stayed
Past Couch Residencies
Artists and researchers who have taken up the couch, what brought them to Lagos, and what came out of the week.
