Canon, a world leader in image and document management systems and solutions, in partnership with Images Evidence, is pleased to announce the launch of the seventh edition of the Canon Short Film Video Documentary Grant, designed to encourage a videographer and/or photographer by awarding a grant of 8,000 euros, provided by Canon, as well as the loan of a video kit.
The winner will be selected in early June by a jury of media professionals. Candidates will be judged on their project presentation and previous work, as well as their journalistic approach and the relevance of their chosen subject.
A first teaser will be presented in September 2026 during the award ceremony at one of the screening evenings of the Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan festival. The full video report will be screened a year later, in September 2027.
