The Rongo Artist Residency is a curated programme designed to support and amplify the work of emerging and mid-career artists across disciplines. Set in Benin City -a city with a rich and living artistic heritage, the residency offers selected artists dedicated time, space, and community to deepen their practice, develop new work, and engage in meaningful dialogue with peers and the broader creative ecosystem. The programme operates in a 2 months hybrid format, combining in-person residency periods in Benin City with flexible remote engagement, allowing artists to participate while remaining connected to their own communities and contexts.
