Nigeria is home to thousands of plant and animal species, many of them still undocumented, yet the country’s natural richness rarely gets the spotlight it deserves. The Nigeria Nature Photography Awards (NNPA) was created to change that inviting photographers to capture the wildlife, landscapes, and human-nature relationships that define Nigeria’s ecosystems, and to bring that imagery to a wider audience through exhibitions, media coverage, and public recognition.
